In this animated promotional video, defense contractor BAE Systems shows off its vision for “Micro Autonomous Systems and Technology” — tiny, swarming, bug-like robots. The Army just gave the company a $38

Exoskeleton Turns Humans Into Terminators
Raytheon, the giant defense contractor, recently bought up Utah technology firm Sarcos‘ robotics business. And it wasn’t because of Sarcos’ work on the Bellagio’s fountains, I suspect. For years, Sarcos has been working for the military on real-life exoskeletons, to radically boost soldiers’ strength. Here’s a video of a Sarcos exoskeleton in action.
terrifying and crazy power

Jurassic Park becoming true !! …In Dubai
A new $1-billion theme park in Dubai – featuring over 100 animatronic dinosaurs of 40 different species – promises to take you closer to a prehistoric world than you’ve ever been before.
“Dubai is making me crazy
, they don’t stop surprising me.”
The Tyrannosaurus rex follows you with watchful hungry eyes, but unlike his likeness in the Jurassic Park film, this robot – found at the world’s most impressive dinosaur theme park – is unlikely to snap you up for dinner.
Called Restless Planet, the theme park will be home to the world’s largest collection of animatronic dinosaurs. The T.rex is the first to be completed of 109 robots, which are being built in various shapes and sizes to resemble more than 40 different extinct species.
Once finished, the dinosaurs will populate displays emulating a range of prehistoric habitats in the glitzy, US$1.1-billion (A$1.3-billion) park, currently under construction in Dubai, part of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Scheduled to open in late 2008, the park is the star attraction of a large Las Vegas-style entertainment and business development called City of Arabia. While the details are being kept pretty quiet, the creators of the development, the Ilyas and Mastafa Galadari Group, have released promotional videos showing a T.rex charging at visitors and pterodactyls flying overhead.
Latest science
There are also hints that the park will be an educational experience, based on the latest science and palaeontological know-how – rather than purely thrill-seeking frippery.
“The Restless Planet provides a visual, audio and tactile experience allowing visitors to experience some of the exciting things that have gone on in the Earth’s history,” says managing director Mustafa Galadari. “Extremely realistic and scary – but at the same time, educational, the 500,000 square foot (46,000 square metre) Restless Planet, will most of all be enormous fun. A thrilling ride in a scientifically accurate environment.”
“Right now it’s pretty much under wraps, but I can tell you that it will indeed be accurate to our modern knowledge, and it will be unlike anything you’ve ever seen before,” adds palaeontologist Jack Horner, of the Museum of the Rockies at Montana State University in Bozeman, U.S., who is advising the designers of the park.
Horner dug up the first known dinosaur nest fossils, was a technical advisor on Steven Spielberg’s Jurassic Park, and is purported to have inspired the character of Alan Grant in Michael Crichton’s original book. “On any commercial project I do my best to suggest things that would make the dinosaurs look as best they can based on the latest discoveries, and most up-to-date ideas,” says Horner.

The 24-carat gold MacBook Pro
Even MacBooks may be one of the most expensive Notebooks ,but they have a pretty good look, and good specs. Now there’s a new Apple gadget on the block that literally makes every other Apple device look dull. A company called Computer Choppers has put together a Gold-plated MacBook Pro, with an appropriately diamond studded Apple logo. Should go nicely with your gold plated … HP … LaserJet. Yeah. Get ready to sell your house.

Coca-cola readying self chilling soft drinks
Coca-cola is planing for a new Version from Sprite … That would produce ice when it’s opened.
“a mechanism inside creates ice made from the drink, so it is not diluted.” Reportedly.
And they would call it Sprite Super Chilled, if it has a success in UK they will make a version from it to Coke. The only thing I’m dying to drink when writing this right now is to try this sprite.Hope it would hit Egypt soon ISA.

Strokes of Genius
Phil Hansen is not only tearing down the “gallery” walls that keep many people from seeing and enjoying art. He’s also showing us how it’s made — all on the Internet.
I see it’s not the how good paints he draws , but it’s the way he draws them and the tools he use , for example :
Take the giant portrait he made of North Korean leader Kim Jong Il as a protest against nuclear proliferation. He applied 6,000 adhesive bandages on a plywood backdrop. Then, using a quart-sized bag of his own blood, he painted Kim’s face on the exposed gauze. His sister-in-law, a doctor, helped him draw the 500ml he needed.
His works often have a political stance. Several years ago, Hansen devised an image of President George W. Bush by hand-painting the names of 1,700 coalition soldiers killed from the beginning of the Iraq War until April 2005.
“They’re dying for George Bush,” he explains. “They’re dying for an idea that he had and unfortunately it wasn’t a clear idea.”
